Vinexpo Hong Kong’s Return

Vinexpo returned to Hong Kong on May 28-30 after a six-year hiatus. Our California wines pavilion featured 19 exhibitors, including wineries from Napa Valley Vintners and Sonoma County Vintners, together showcasing an impressive selection of over 550 wines. The event drew more than 14,000 visitors, with 75% coming from the Greater China region.

The event’s success aligned with the region’s flourishing alcohol trade. Last year, Hong Kong imported HK$7.5 billion worth of alcohol and exported HK$2.9 billion, with imports rising by 84% and exports by a remarkable 130%. Vinexpo’s successful return showcased Hong Kong’s dynamic growth and strategic importance in the global wine market.
